Wearing fishnets to the gym …say what?!
Actually, it’s a brilliant idea. Comfortable, looks great and sustainable.
If the fishnets are in the shape of workout gear by Planet Nusa that is.
What a gloriously amazing idea to make workout gear out of recycled fishnets and other plastics from the ocean. I mean we want to feel and look good when we work out and these items tick both boxes.
Talk about a feel-good workout!
I love how brands have started thinking outside the box. To be able to take something that would otherwise ruin our world and re-purpose it into something not only totally usable but even gorgeous. It’s so clever!
Imagine what else we could make out of recycled fishnets or plastic bottles?
I understand how much harder it is for a company to be sustainable and I applaud anyone who does anything to incorporate sustainability in their process. We can’t expect 100% yet, because there needs to be a profit for the business or it won’t work out.
Imagine if brands would compete in sustainability. If we as consumers really show how much we value initiatives like these. In the end, more brands are going to follow suit. This is why we HAVE to make the right choices when we buy. Buy less, buy better and make a stand with our power as consumers.
It’s all about supply and demand in the end.
And btw…I have pretty bad Diastasis recti.
So for me to show my midriff in anything really testifies to the genius of this design. I actually feel pretty and confident in this outfit. Even though my abs are separated and I at times still look about 4 months pregnant.
I love how the trousers go all the way up over my belly button and cover my personal problem area that I’m not too excited to show off (or be reminded of). I feel great wearing this set.
So this is definitely not the last pair of Planet Nusa’s I will own.
